Lluvia de Beatles

Fue el primer videoclip de la historia del rock. Grabado de un tirón y sin montaje, para el estreno del single en Estados Unidos (junto con Paperbackwriter), en el show de Ed Sullivan. Corría mayo de 1966:



Aqui abajo, otra versión montada –y comentada por George y John– de esta pequeña joya de tres minutos, de la que probablemente fue la mejor cara B de los Beatles. Hace 42 años, la canción supuso además un ejercicio vanguardista de experimentación en el estudio: pistas aceleradas y ralentizadas, voces envolventes, grabación al revés, saturación del bajo y separación en canales de la batería... Décadas más tarde, Ringo también reconocería que había sido su mejor trabajo a la percusión.
